Developer Resources
This page is designed as an evolving toolkit for builders, architects, and investors. Here, developers will find everything from local demographic snapshots and workforce data to engineering design standards, financing pathways, and recent code updates that streamline development.
Laramie is committed to removing barriers, improving transparency, and supporting thoughtful growth. If there are additional tools or datasets that could help your project, we welcome suggestions—this resource will continue to expand based on the needs of our development community.
Demographics
Laramie is a steadily growing community that is constrained by a lack of housing units which impacts the ability of local business to recruit additional employees, additionally constricting the community.
With 3 educational institutions, University of Wyoming, Laramie County Community College, and WyoTech Trade School, Albany County has a large potential workforce base for most any industry.

Awards
National rankings consistently place Laramie among the best places to live, study, and invest—from Top 100 U.S. livability lists to a nationally awarded Main Street.
These recognitions underscore what our residents and partners already know: Laramie offers a rare combination of economic opportunity, housing potential, outdoor access, and a strong, inclusive community.
